Throughout my time in the mental health field, I have learned that we all need to be met where we are. This is how I approach my clients and work.
Recovery looks different for everyone, so I work collaboratively to meet clients where they are while guiding them toward growth and resilience.
I believe every human is capable of recovery and managing their mental health with the right tools. I draw from multiple modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy- enhanced, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive processing therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and motivational interviewing. Although, I am open to exploring new/different modalities the best meet the client's needs.
My focus is building a strong therapeutic rapport while also creating a safe and supportive environment to work through the challenges of everyday life and recovery.
Recovery is hard but you don't have to do it alone.
