About Lacey Davis LCPC LCPAT
Lacey Davis LCPC, LCPAT (She/Her)
Telehealth only
I know how hard it can be to reach out for support, especially when you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to start. If you’re here, it likely means that a part of you is ready for change, and I want you to know, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m a licensed therapist and art therapist who’s passionate about creating a space where you feel truly safe, seen, and supported. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through genuine connection and that therapy should feel like a compassionate, collaborative relationship rather than something clinical or distant.
I specialize in working with older adolescents and adults who are navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, grief, and the many challenges that come with simply being human. My intention is to walk alongside you, at your pace, as you explore your inner world, reconnect with your sense of self, and begin to move toward the healing you deserve.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from The George Washington University, and I’ve been working in the mental health field for over five years. I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Licensed Clinical Art Therapist (LCAT), and I’ve completed Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the IFS Institute. My approach draws from a variety of trauma-informed modalities, including IFS, Art Therapy, Parts Work, Somatic Practices, and Polyvagal Theory, always tailored to fit your unique needs and experiences.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse settings: inpatient and outpatient hospitals, adolescent residential programs, and international communities with limited access to mental health care. These experiences continue to shape my commitment to offering care that is not only clinically informed, but also culturally aware, individualized, and deeply respectful of each person’s story.
In therapy with me, you can expect a warm, grounded presence and a space where there’s room for all parts of you. I show up with curiosity, compassion, and clinical skill and together, we’ll work to understand what’s beneath the surface, building connection, clarity, and inner safety along the way.
Outside of my work, I find connection and calm through knitting, creating my own clothing is one way I connect with the world through fiber, history, and intention. I also spend time tending to my houseplants and walking, both are practices that help me stay rooted and present. And, as you might expect, I still make art, without expectations, outcomes, or goals. Just the freedom to create, express, and be free.
If something in this speaks to you, I’d be honored to connect. Whether you’re just starting therapy or coming back after some time away, you’re welcome here. I’m proud of the parts of you that brought you to this moment.
